Kara Fesolovich brings a sharp strategic lens and deep media experience to her role as Principal at Moxie Strategies. With a background in political communications and rapid response, she helps clients navigate complex media environments with precision, clarity, and confidence.

Before joining Moxie, Kara served as Deputy Communications Director for New York Governor Kathy Hochul, leading press strategy on issues ranging from education and agriculture to public lands. She previously worked in the U.S. Senate as a communications staffer for Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO), deploying rapid response and messaging at the national level.

Whether she’s managing a press rollout or fine-tuning messaging behind the scenes, Kara brings a calm, focused approach to high-pressure work—and a deep understanding of the political and media landscapes in which her clients operate.
