Anna Rebecca Joyner is a Junior Associate at Moxie Strategies, where she supports research, communications, and client management initiatives across public and private sector projects. In her role, she contributes to strategy development, and content creation, helping clients advance initiatives that align with their policy and communications goals.

Anna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stockton University, where she was a member of the Honors College and focused on political methodology, policy analysis, and public engagement. Her academic work explored the relationship between data and decision-making, using tools like SPSS to examine voting behavior, public opinion, and social trends that shape policy outcomes.

Before joining Moxie, Anna interned with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington, D.C., where she conducted policy research, tracked legislative activity, and analyzed political and economic factors influencing federal initiatives. Her experience provided firsthand insight into the policymaking process and strengthened her ability to translate research into actionable strategy.

Anna’s earlier roles in customer relations and operations taught her the importance of adaptability, collaboration, and precision—skills she continues to apply in her work today. She is proficient in SPSS, Microsoft Excel, and Asana, and brings a data-informed approach to communications strategy, policy development, and project execution.

Her career goals center on advancing within public affairs and government relations, where she aims to bridge research, strategy, and advocacy to help organizations design equitable, evidence-based solutions that create meaningful community impact.
