Andrew Boanoh
Andrew Boanoh is Junior Associate at Moxie Strategies, where he supports communications, research, and public affairs initiatives across the firm's client portfolio. He is particularly interested in the relationship between language, persuasion, and public life, and looks forward to helping organizations develop messages that connect with audiences and advance strategic goals.
Andrew is a rising senior at Yale University, where he recently completed his term as Student Body President. He studies philosophy with a particular focus on the philosophy of language, rhetoric, and ethical communication. Beyond the classroom, he plays on Yale's men's rugby team, sings with the Yale Glee Club, and serves as a counselor for incoming first-year students.
Before joining Moxie, Andrew spent a summer studying French literature and culture in Paris and worked as a speechwriter and legislative intern for New Jersey Assemblywoman Tennille R. McCoy. In that role, he drafted speeches, op-eds, public statements, and policy communications on issues ranging from housing and workforce development to healthcare and education. He also supported constituent engagement efforts and assisted with the day-to-day operations of the legislative office.
Andrew's academic and professional experiences have cultivated a lasting interest in how ideas move through institutions and how communication shapes public understanding. He plans to pursue a career at the intersection of strategic communications, public affairs, and civic leadership.
Andrew is from Robbinsville, New Jersey, and in his free time, you can find him hiking local trails, experimenting with new recipes, or getting lost in a well-told story.
